How Do I Download My Documents?

All of our standards are available in PDF (Portable Document Format), an electronic, downloadable format. You can download these files directly from your account.

1.Click on the My Account button in the top right of your screen, and select My Downloads.
Click on the DOWNLOAD button associated with your file.

2.If you are not already signed in to your account, an email containing the order information and download link will be sent to you.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 8.0 or higher, please go to step 2. If you have already installed the FileOpen plug-in, please go to step 3. 

1. If not already installed, download and install the current free edition of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

2. Download the free Adobe-approved FileOpen plug-in for Acrobat Reader.


NOTE: FileOpen is compatible with the following versions of Acrobat:

Windows: Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 9.0 or later
Mac: Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 9.0 or later
Linux: Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat 7.x or 8.x

If you are unable to read PDFs using the FileOpen plugin in the Google Chrome browser, this is easy to resolve.
Google Chrome no longer supports Adobe Acrobat for reading PDFs in the browser. Instead, you can update the Site Settings in Google Chrome so that PDFs are downloaded to your desktop, where you can open them using an Adobe Acrobat program.
To update your Site Settings:
1. Click on the menu option (3 vertical dots) in the upper right hand corner of the browser screen
2. Once the menu loads select the “Settings” option
3. On the left hand-side select “Privacy and Security”, to navigate you to that section on the screen
4. Select “Site Settings”
5. Scroll past the sub-header “Content” and click “Additional content settings”
6. Click on “PDF documents”
7. Select the default behavior to be “Download PDFs”
Once you have made this change, you will be able to download Techstreet PDFs using Google Chrome using Adobe Acrobat and the FileOpen plugin

You can check your order status under My Account. You must be logged in to your account to access this area. Once you are logged in, click on the My Account button and select My Orders to check the status of your outstanding order(s).

If you choose the Guest Checkout, Please check your mailbox for the latest order status, or contact us.

Follow these steps to print your invoice:
Click on the My Account button in the top right of your screen, and select My Orders.
Locate the desired order (by date or Order #), and click on the down arrow in the View Details column.
You may then click on the Printable Invoice number to view and download a copy of your invoice.

Standard Return Policy
There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a standard you purchased from the Engineering Standards Store.
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you purchased it.
You have not viewed or printed, in total, more than twenty percent (20%) of the book.
You have not used any included access codes for any online resource that came with your book purchase.
You have not previously returned the same Book from a prior purchase.
You have not returned a total of 3 or more books in the past 90 days
You can only return items purchased directly from the Engineering Standards Store.
Returns for Engineering Standards Store books purchases through other retailers are subject to their respective returns and refunds policy.
Abuse of Return Policy: Engineering Standards Store reserves the right to refuse to sell or to provide refunds to any person for any reason not prohibited by law, including, but not limited to, abuse of its return policy.

Refunds

Once we receive your refund request, a refund is initiated immediately. We refund your purchase back to the original payment method. Returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
